Jujutsu Kaisen Review

I just finished reading JJK and I just wanted to kind of talk about my overall feelings on this show. The uniqueness of using curses, reverse curses, simple domains, domain expansions, all of this stuff. It really introduced like a just a really cool power system that was just fun to follow.

I just found myself in love with a lot of the characters. Gojo, Maki, Nanami, Geto, and the Comedian. These characters were all just a lot of fun to watch. And as we went through different arcs, Shibuya arc was super cool to see, especially seeing it animated, reading through the Culling Games and seeing how many different variety of sorcerers.

I mean, we got to meet Hakari, who was super cool. He had the feverish feel and that his entire domain was so confusing, but I loved it.

It did get a little bit tiresome when it would just be paragraphs of paragraphs of text. I also particularly wasn’t a big fan of Sukuna as a villain because he was just a villain to be a villain. Obviously, that does play a role in terms of Yuji deciding if Sukuna deserves death. And it’s because he has no humanity.

I think it was really cool for Yuta to take over Gojo’s body. That was freaking dope. And that made a whole lot of sense.

The Kenjaku dying to the Comedian was so perfect. And we get to see someone who looks like Geto with the Comedian at the end. And I’m just like, that that made me super happy.

I was truly satisfied with the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen. Yuji as a character, a character who I was never interested in because he had no purpose in life. But hearing his story as he talks to Sukuna, where that is who he is, he never felt like he had a place anywhere. And for him to learn and understand that his place is just to exist and to make sure that other people can exist and make their own choices of why they want to live. I think that is an amazing character. And the fact that Yuji gave Sukuna a change of heart is something truly special. I cannot wait to see what Gege has up next. Thank you all for watching my my series of reactions to JJK. Bye-bye.
